Fruit for this wine comes from a vineyard planted in 2004 on primarily basalt-based soils. Quite pale in appearance – almost completely transparent, the aromas are dialed back, with notes of cherry, celery salt, dried herb, and spice. The dark fruit flavors are juicy and medium-plus bodied, hanging on the finish. 13.8% alcohol. TCA-free micro-agglomerated cork. 126 cases produced. –Sean P. Sullivan
