The Wine
Torii Mor 2024 White Wine Assemblage aromatics present green apple, lime zest, lemongrass and grapefruit.
The flavors on the palette include white peach, apple and followed by strong tropical fruit flavors.
The wine texture is bright, rich, with juicy acidity from beginning to end.
The finish is long with lasting tropical mango notes with ever so slight minerality.
This wine will be a great companion to seafood, poultry and spicy dishes.
The Vineyards
Trout Lily Vineyard, a historic site, was planted on the south side of Chehalem Mountains in 1976, one of the first in the region. The vines are own-rooted and dry farmed. The soil is comprised of Jory clay loam mixed with some Willakenzie soil.
The Cellar
Our 2024 White Wine Assemblage is comprised of classic Bordeaux Varietals. Sauvignon Blanc 84% and Semillon 16%, harvested on October 6, 2024 at 23.4 Brix, pressed then racked into a Stainless-steel tank, inoculated with VL3 yeast strain and fermented for 35 days. The wine didn’t go through Malo-Lactic fermentation and was racked and sterile filtered at bottling.
